SALSA 2013 – VIII Sesquiannual Conference

Overview of the conference:
The SALSA 2013 meetings will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, from the afternoon of March 7 (Thursday) through noon on March 10 (Sunday). The conference is being hosted by Vanderbilt University, with Beth Conklin of Vanderbilt University responsible for general conference organization and Carlos D. Londoño Sulkin of the University of Regina responsible for the academic program.
The Program (with the schedule, list of participants, and paper and panel abstracts) is available here.
Meeting spaces: The main conference venue is Buttrick Hall on the Vanderbilt campus with classrooms, seminar rooms, and a small auditorium. A central atrium offers space for receptions, registration, the poster and photography exhibit, and for the book and publication distribution table.
Media: All classrooms are equipped with computers (usually both PC and Mac), internet, projector and screen. Seminar rooms are not media-equipped, but technology can be arranged with advance notice. The small auditorium is suitable for film screenings.
